AMC25

I dont think very much has happened since my last post. Went to go see Blood On The Wall this weekend at MHOW, and my dad's birfday was on Saturday and we went out to this Thai place in the west village called isle w/ my dad's Romanian friend and her daughter. And I was drunk and decided to go out to Booshwick to see Black Dice at the Market Hotel afterwards (instead of the easy choice, going to the Merc Lounge down the street to see Atlas Sound), but it was sold out by the time I got out there. And on Sunday we tried to go see No Country For Old Mans, b/c my dad hadnt seen it yet, but it was also sold out. So they went to go see Foolio's Gold at Union Square and I went uptown to see Jumper at the AMC25 in Times Squizzle. And the 6th floor rooftop was open for once. So I took some of these pics from up there. This weekend should be better.

Sweet Ups in Bklyn tomorrow w/ Erik & company.
Oneida // Oakley Hall Friday at the KF.
Genghis Tron // Big A Little A // Ponytail // Shooting Spires Saturday at the Market Hotel.

Tones Exultant

So after playing tour guide for most of the day yesterday, I took a little rest and headed down to the Cake Shoppe on Ludlow Skreet in the lower east sidely for to see the Panache balentine's day love-in show w/ These Are Powers, Knyfe Hyts, The Apes, and Mixel Pixel. Two of which are my faborite ghostpunk & powernoisekraut bands of bklyn, respectively.

There were 2 guys on before Mixel Pixel (who were pretty boring), one of them was called Sticks, and they did like a William Shatner-ish set w/ pummeling drums and speak-sung vocals. And one of them is getting his tie grabbed by Knife Skills Anna in one of the pictures below.

Freedom Fries

and Liberty Cabbage. I took our SL guest on a sightseeing tour of lower Manhattan today. Battery Park to Castle Clinton, and then the ferry over to the Liberty Lady. We were going to do Central Park, Times Square, and Chinatown after that but ran out of time and sunlight. It was almost dark by the time we got to 59th and 5th ave. But heres the pictures from earlier this afternoon.
